AtlasCare's Care to Share Program

Our Care to Share program is all about the AtlasCare team’s desire to give back to the communities that have helped us grow since 1932. With the hard work of our staff, we have been afforded the opportunity to invest in not only our own people, but the people in the communities we serve. We care in more ways than one and are committed to sharing our passion with our neighbours in any way we can. Here are just some of the major initiatives AtlasCare is involved in on an ongoing basis.

Golf Fore MS

The Golf Fore MS Annual Golf Tournament is near and dear to all our hearts. The Grochmal family has experienced the loss of two immediate family members due to MS. Several of our team members have been touched by MS and lost family members over the years, as well. As a company, we have chosen to hold an annual Golf Fore MS tournament where AtlasCare has been the title sponsor for many years. In 2019, we successfully raised over $64,000 on September 26th to support individuals living with MS in the Dufferin-Peel region. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Golf Fore MS tournament which will be held in September. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

SafetyNet Children & Youth Charities

SafetyNet Children & Youth Charities provides free items and services to financially disadvantaged families. AtlasCare has been involved with SafetyNet in the Halton Region for several years. Besides holding a coat drive every year, the AtlasCare team also has a New Sock and Underwear drive, as well. Many of our teammates and their families have donated their time to sort clothes at SafetyNet and had a lot of fun doing it.

The Compass Food Bank

One of our most recent Care To Share affiliations is with The Compass Foodbank in Mississauga. Our AtlasCare team members have volunteered their time to pitch in at The Compass as well as held two food drives for the community. This year one of our AtlasCare trucks became Santa’s sleigh as we picked up over a thousand pounds of food collected by several local schools and Hatch Ltd. Mississauga Branch. The food donations were delivered to The Compass and unloaded by several volunteers. Watch for the AtlasCare Sleigh again this year.

Continue to watch this spot, as AtlasCare is excited to announce a new charitable initiative that we will be participating in! We can’t release the details yet, but it’s safe to say we are pretty excited.
